A Great Day

Today was just a spectacular day. It's probably one of the few times in my life when I'll be able to say that literally everything went smoothly and even close to perfect. Seriously.

I went to the station for a bit to get some things done and to "do" an air shift. Then I finished VTing tonight's show on My and the I came home to get ready for dinner. Well, before that I decided to clean my apartment. It needed it badly! I mean, it wasn't really that bad off but I just didn't realize all the little things that I had been neglecting this week. But I now have a clean apartment and I'm happy. Yes, mom, my bed's even made up!

Tonight, however, was the highlight of the day. I met up with Mandie for dinner and I can honestly say that tonight was the best time I've had since moving to Fort Wayne. It's been a really long time since I've gone to dinner with a woman and sat around talking over an hour after we've finished eating. LOL Well, it's kind of funny: Last night she called me on her way home from seeing her friends at Indiana Tech and we ended up talking until 4:00 this morning. She made the sarcastic statement that we had exhaused all possible topics of conversation. Apparently, that wasn't so. ;-) But I'm not complaining. I hope to see her again soon; hopefully she feels the same way (hehehe).

I think I'm going to watch a DVD and go to bed. Tomorrow's my "day off"(I have to go to the station for about an hour) so it's not like I really need to go to bed anytime soon.
