An opportunity

I promise that not all posts will be like the previous two.  But, hey, sometimes you just gotta get stuff like that off your chest, even political stuff.

Today was really good.  I had a great show and got everything in the office done at lightning speed.  I also got to go out to the Three Rivers Festival for a bit and that was a ton of fun.  Now, there's a rule that says you can't say that you've been to a festival or fair unless you've eating something on a stick.  I had a corn dog LOL.  Hey, it's on a stick!  Needless to say it caused chaos with my diet but sometimes you just gotta cheat.

Also, as the title indicates, I have an opportunity to advance my career.  No, it's not by leaving Fort Wayne but it's a great opportunity nonetheless.  I can't say much about it but it would be a HUGE deal and I would stand to make a nice bit of money from it.  Please pray for me on this (if you pray, that is).

Speaking of prayer, I got an email from a man named Stu who gave me some words of encouragement during my recent funk.  I really appreciate the words and especially the prayer.  Trust me, I'll take as much of that as I can.  I read in Matthew about what Jesus said about worrying.  Basically, He says that we shouldn't worry about tomorrow because today has its own set of problems.  But he also said that God will provide for us in all of our needs.  So there's no need to worry anyway! :-)

I'm going to bed.  Thanks for taking the time to read my musings.  Hopefully someone's getting some enjoyment out of this because I sure like writing in this thing.  I think I'm addicted!
