Fireworks

Happy 4th of July! The day we remember the founding of our country by our forefathers. Here's hoping you enjoyed the fireworks, the flag and the BBQ!

Today was good. Didn't really do a whole lot. In other words, it was pretty boring. I went up to the station to do some work and came home. Went to Saylor's for the fireworks and came home. Yep, that's about it LOL.

This is the first Fouth of that I've spent alone in a long time. And honestly it sucked hardcore. I kept thinking about what my family was doing today. Cooking out, swimming, having a good time. I'm up here, alone, with nothing to do. I still haven't made many friends up here so I really didn't have anything to do. I wish I wasn't so shy. See, it may seem weird since I'm in radio but I'm really shy and somewhat of a homebody. I like to go out, I just usually don't. I also have a tough time making friends, talking to people, all that. Blame that on my childhood when I was home schooled. Unfortunately my social skills didn't get any better in high school and college. Maybe someday...

Is it just me or do most of my post make me seem like I wallow in self pity? I guess I'm just a pitiful person or something LOL. On that note...
