Gettin' High For a Good Cause!

That's right, I'm going to be getting high... but it's for a good cause! Tuesday at 6AM, I will be lifted high above the parking lot of Kroger at State and Spy Run on a United Rentals scisor lift and I will not come back down until we fill a semi truck full of non perishable food items for Community Harvest Food Bank. I checked the weather forecast... it's going to be cold and there's a VERY good chance for snow! But it's all for a good cause.

Come by and give generiously. Not only so I can come down but also because there are many people who are less fortunate than you and I who need the help. Would you really want to look at your table on Thanksgiving (or at any time for that matter) and not see any food there? Would you really want to go hungry? I sure wouldn't (and you can look at me and tell that I rarely miss a meal! LOL) and neither would you. Yes, it's going to be cold and the snow will surely be a bitch but I'm glad that I can donate my time like this to help those less fortunate.

And don't worry, I'll have plenty of warm clothing and a tarp to keep me warm and as little exposed to the elements as possible. And, yes, I'll also get bathroom breaks. LOL Hope to see you out there!
